TALENT SHOWCASE RULES

Eligibility: Contest is open to those who consider themselves an independent artist. For the purposes of this contest, an independent artist is defined as a person not affiliated with (under contract with) a major label. Anyone under the age of 18 must submit written proof of parents’ approval to perform. Parents’ approval is subject to verification by the staff of Go Platinum Entertainment, however, failure to verify approval will not subject Go Platinum Entertainment, or its affiliates to liability.

Go Platinum Entertainment reserves the right to cancel, combine or eliminate categories based upon participant response.

ENTRY FEE:
Free but must sell 25 tickets to the Showcase

TICKET COST: 
$15 per ticket. $375.00 due at time of registration. Entry fees are not refundable.
Performances:

Showcase Competition

• Contestants can perform with their own band, solo, or use a CD track. All performances are limited to 3 minutes. Contestants will provide their own accompaniment music.

• This is a family show. All song lyrics must be of acceptable family content. NO curse words, profanity, sexually explicit lyrics or other questionable lyrics will be allowed. Failure to adhere to this rule will subject contestant to immediate disqualification. NO REFUNDS will be given to disqualified contestants.

Songwriter/Producers Competition submit the following:

• CD with your best ORIGINAL track or song.
• Entries containing profanity or sexually explicit lyrics will automatically be disqualified!
• NO SAMPLES. ONLY ORIGINAL MATERIAL.
• 3-minute performance.
• A copy of your Copyright registration certificate.

Model Spokesperson Competition

• Model one casual out fit and one formal out fit and cold read a 30 second commercial.  Must supply own outfit.

Hairstylist Competition

• Show up to 6 different hairstyles on 6 different models, during the competition. Must provide own models.

Fashion Designer Competition

• Show one collection containing up to 6 different outfits.  Must provide own models.

Judging: The Audience determines the winner.  So bring as many friends and family as you possibly can to cheer you on. The Go Platinum Entertainment Convention to eliminate any contestant during the competition. All decisions by judges will be final.
Seminars:  All contestants will receive a full scholarship to attend the educational seminars held during the convention.
Prizes: All prizes will be awarded to name(s) on entry form. Division of prizes among multi-person acts is responsibility of winners. Taxes are the responsibility of winners. Void where prohibited. All Federal, State and Local laws and regulations apply.
Winners:

• Talent Showcase Winner - showcase their talent for 15 minutes by opening up for the National Platinum Act on Saturday, November 19th or during the Gospel Show on Sunday, November 20th.
• Songwriter/Producer Winner – Song played during the breaks before the National Platinum Act on Saturday, November 19th.
• Model Spokesperson Winner –featured during the National Platinum Act on Saturday, November 19th or during the Gospel Show on Sunday, November 20th.
• Hairstylist Winner - featured during the National Platinum Act on Saturday, November 19th or during the Gospel Show on Sunday, November 20th.
• Fashion Designer Winner - will be featured during the National Platinum Act on Saturday, November 19th or during the Gospel Show on Sunday, November 20th.
